Every year on January 21st, we remember Ras Bihari Bose, a revered Indian freedom fighter born on May 25, 1886. Known for founding the Indian National Army (INA), Bose played a crucial role in India’s struggle for independence. He orchestrated an attempt to throw a bomb at Viceroy Lord Charles Hardinge in 1912, narrowly escaping arrest.
Bose later sought support from Japan, leading to the establishment of the Indian Independence Army (Azad Hind Fauj) during World War II. Despite facing challenges, his contributions remain pivotal in India’s fight against British rule.
Bose passed away on January 21, 1945, in Tokyo. Today, we honor his legacy and remember his dedication to India’s freedom. #RasBihariBose #FreedomFighter
